I second that. Beyond Good and Evil was awesome and I enjoyed playing every minute of it. The only negative aspect is that it’s pretty short. I hope they will release a sequel someday.

Yeah, I did a bit of Google research on this and found a few testimonials from people who’ve used Savapoint’s ‘Loyalty Gift’ thingies. It seems that you end up with no box in some cases and just the game itself, so I suspect they’re trying to offload ones that ended up with damaged boxes for some reason or other (I can’t see why else they’d just chuck them away).

I’d personally still recommend you get Beyond Good and Evil either pre-owned or new from any game shop, which is probably about double what you’re paying for the shipping on this thing. But if you’re having trouble finding it or are really cheap, you get the message.

Oh and… it doesn’t work properly for me. There is a severe timing bug for the cutscenes (audio & video becomes desynchronised) which is a shame as the game looks like a lot of fun. I googled it and there are various people with the same problem as me; none of the fixes offered were effective, nor did patching have any effect. For buttons you can’t really complain I guess, it’s still worth a go.
